Yes i'm awared of that fact, BUT, when you buy cymbals, YOU DO notice that hand crafted cymbals, have differences between themselves. but still they put the most common "tune". I bought a sabian Evolution ozone crash, and 2 months after, it never sounded like the recorded for the website.

It makes things harder than it might seem.

The only way that i find usefull when it's about buying stuff i dont know, is by watching and hearing people that use it, of course there's another fact, your home studio wont ever be like the one you saw on tv or dvd.

What i do mean about all this bla bla i'm on, is that, there should be some "instruction" while you are looking for which drumhead you want, or fits you the most.

Like you wrote, it might never happen, but still, it could be...
