Santa was good to you this year. Congrats...

What's that Pearl snare? I'm a big sensitone snare fan, but never saw anything like that. I'm feeling an urge.... Smile

It's a limited edition 7X13 Steel snare and is now my go to snare. It sounds amazing! !! I have a few. No huge collection. The gms is acrylic and sounds nice also. ...

Here's a mini stack minus the GMS...Going for a DW next. Also got more of Byzance dark ordered to make a complete set....

Now you have a 13" go one step further and get a deep stave 12" ... like me you will never look back ..... Smile Nice toys. Most of my cymbals (Bosphorus) and non lathed or semi lathed. Nice indeed as is the vehicle.

Light travels faster than sound. This is why some people appear bright until you hear them speak.

Thanks Peter! A 12 would be too small for me! Lol! Hard enough for me to hit the center! Making the target area smaller won't help!

Looking good! Could we see a better shot of the GMS strainer? It looks interesting.

Holy wood grain Batman! That Canopus is nice looking. Lots of definition in the grains.

I still like your Pearl the best. I just love steel snares. Never played anything but 14" snares. How's the 13" size stack up?

I like the 13 size better. Especially 7 inch depth. That's whyI went with the 7 inch Canopus. I also looked at Brady Snares. Still might.

Glad you're happy with your new toys. Maybe I'll try a 7x13 just to see how I would like it. Hmmmm.... See what you've started! Smile
