Just saw a big billboard driving from work this afternoon just North of Lansing, MI. Cheap Trick is touring with Night Ranger. The Cheap Trick photo only showed the other 3 guys WITHOUT Bun E. Anybody know what's up with Bun? Is he sick or still with the band?

I think I just answered my own question. Google is a wonderful thing. Smile

On March 19, 2010, Cheap Trick issued a statement that Carlos is not the current touring drummer for Cheap Trick but that he still remains a band member. Cheap Trick guitarist Rick Nielsen's son Daxx was named in the statement as the touring drummer.[3] Carlos had previously suffered from back problems, the recovery and treatment of which had caused him to miss portions of some Cheap Trick tours. However, Carlos has repeatedly stated that he is healthy. He has also stated that he hasn't heard from the band "in a couple years" and that "maybe we’ll kiss and make up". Inside sources claim Carlos (Carlson) is mad at Tom Petersson, and the way others treated their best former bassist, Jon B. Brant. There is another Bun E. Carlos Experience project in the works with Brant now.[4]
In 2011, Carlos once again debuted a band at SXSW in the form of his new project Candy Golde. Featuring an all-star cast, the other men of Candy Golde are Nicholas Tremulis, John Stirratt (Wilco, the Autumn Defense) and Rick Rizzo (Eleventh Dream Day). Mark Greenburg (the Coctails) was added to the band when they started to play live shows. Their 5-song EP was mastered by Ivan Julian of Richard Heil and the Voidoids. The EP contains four originals and a cover of Paul Simon's "Boy in the Bubble", issued for limited edition 10" vinyl and download on Ten O Nine Records. The dark, authoritative drawing gracing the cover of the EP is by renowned modern artist Wesley Kimler, hand-picked by Tremulis, Stirratt and Rizzo, all good friends with the painter.
In 2013, Carlos filed a lawsuit against his former bandmates, claiming that even though they claim that he is still a band member, he is not being allowed to participate in band-related activities, including recording a new album. The remaining three members of Cheap Trick filed a countersuit, seeking an official affirmation of their removal of Carlos.[5]
