Practice your rudiments in a mirror, watch the direction of the sticks and ensure they are moving in a vertical direction only. If you are side-swiping (common) it can make good aim more. Also consider making a dot on the pad and always aim for that. Another common technique to improve accuracy is to do rudiments on a coin instead of a pad.
