Picked up a DS300A conn rod for the Demon Drive pedal and am using it on a tama IC pedal! !!
Zero lash and the slave feels very close to the master pedal. ...
Very good action. ...Cost prohibitive for many as the conn rod isaround the same cost as most high end single pedals....

The one provided with the eliminator is a generic conn rod like any other manufacturers....They look the same and for all I know are made by the same company. ...
Over time, the joints loosen and you develop slop or lash. ..Even out of the box, many have slop in them to begin with..
Demon Drive conn rods as well as Axis rods are beefier and the "u joint" is designed to have zero lash...It gives the slave a closer similarity in feel and response....
