Who cares...You won't get your drums to sound like his no matter what you do. You would need the same heads, same kit, same sticks, same tuning, same studio, same processing, same triggers, etc... See where this is going? You can't replicate a recorded drum sound whether live or studio. Also, Joey would be one of the worst sounds to try and mimic anyway.

I know he uses coated powerstroke 3 bass drum heads. I would know the rest if I actually liked him, but I don't.

Joey currently uses Clear Emperors on toms with Clear Ambassadors as resos, Coated Emperor X on snare and Clear Powerstroke 3 on kicks. Thank you for choosing Remo Brian National Sales Manager Remo Inc.
